About the venue
A barn with room to party
Stock Farm sits on the Tatton Estate in the village of Ashley, on the edge of Tatton Park between Knutsford and Altrincham. Also known as Stock Farm Barn by Tatton Weddings, it’s booked for one wedding at a time, so the barn is all yours.
The barn is fully licensed, with a rustic bar, and seats up to 200 for the wedding breakfast, with plenty of room for more guests in the evening. For outdoor vows there’s a private garden, with lawn games for the afternoon.
When the sun goes down, the firepit gives guests somewhere to gather between sets. There’s farmhouse accommodation on site for your closest family and friends, with more places to stay across the Tatton Estate.
We played Stock Farm in September 2023. The barn is a big, open room with space for a proper dancefloor and the full band.

Have you played at Stock Farm before?
Yes. We played a wedding at Stock Farm in September 2023, so we know the barn and the set-up. It’s just north of Knutsford, an area we cover all the time (see our Knutsford wedding band page).
Is Stock Farm the same as Stock Farm Barn by Tatton Weddings?
Yes. It’s the same barn on the Tatton Estate in Ashley, just listed under different names.
Can you play our ceremony at Stock Farm?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist can play a ceremony in the barn or the garden, then carry on during drinks.
Can the music go on after the band finishes?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is booked with the band, so it picks up where the last set ends. Check your finish time with the venue when you book.
Do we need to hire a PA or lights?
No. The barn gets our own sound system and stage lights, set up during the afternoon and included in the price. Insurance and PAT certificates are ready for the venue.
How much does a wedding band at Stock Farm cost?
Prices start from around £2,000 and depend on your date, set times and any extras, like roaming brass for the garden. It’s one price straight from the band, with nothing added by an agency. Send us your date for a quote.
How far ahead should we book?
Exclusive-use barns like Stock Farm book up early for summer, so check our availability once your date is secured.
