About the venue
The whole estate, just for you
Merrydale Manor sits on Chelford Lane in Over Peover, just outside Knutsford, at the end of a tree-lined drive through parkland, and it’s only ever booked by one couple at a time.
The grounds are made for photos, with landscaped gardens, mature trees and a lake, and you can even say your vows outdoors by the water. The evening centres on the Merrydale suite and bar, with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and big windows looking out over the lake and courtyard.
The suite seats up to 200 for the wedding breakfast and takes up to 220 in the evening, with in-house catering and a coordinator to look after the details. And with 19 bedrooms across the manor house and courtyard, your closest guests can stay right where the party is.
Because it’s exclusive use, there’s no other party next door and no sharing the grounds. The day runs to your plan, at your pace, and that’s exactly the kind of evening a live band is made for.

Can Brass Monkees play at Merrydale Manor?
Yes. Merrydale Manor is in Over Peover, just outside Knutsford and well within the area we cover (see our Knutsford wedding band page). We’ll contact the venue ahead of your day to sort set-up, access and timings, so you can leave the details to us.
Where does the band set up?
Usually in the Merrydale suite, where the evening reception takes place. We’ll confirm the exact spot with the venue and size our PA and lighting to the room and your guest numbers.
Can you play an outdoor ceremony by the lake?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist is ideal for an outdoor ceremony, and roaming brass can follow your guests around the gardens during drinks. We’ll agree positions with the venue and have an indoor plan ready if the weather turns.
Are PA and lighting included?
They are. Every booking includes the band’s full PA and stage lighting, and we hold full insurance, with paperwork we can send to the venue.
Do you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is packaged with the band for one seamless night of music, so one team runs the music for your whole evening.
How much does a wedding band at Merrydale Manor cost?
Prices for our wedding packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and extras. With no agency in the middle, there are no agency fees. Send us your date and we’ll send an exact quote.
How quickly do dates go?
As Merrydale only hosts one wedding at a time, popular dates go quickly, and ours do too. Once you’ve secured the venue, it’s worth checking our availability straight away.
