About the venue
Jacobean grandeur, modern party
Just outside Nantwich, Dorfold Hall is a Grade I-listed Jacobean country house built between 1616 and 1621, set in historic parkland with a lake, gardens and a long sweep of Cheshire countryside.
The house gives you all the elegance you could want for the first part of the day. Then the celebrations move to L’Écurie, a striking modern events building that won RIBA North West Building of the Year, with its own walled courtyard of olive trees and espaliered fruit trees.
There’s more to explore too: the Coach House, over 200 years old, with enormous double oak doors, whitewashed walls, a gallery and a spectacular chandelier under its lofty ceiling, and the intimate Tack Room, with its oak and brass feature bar.
Weddings are run with a dedicated coordinator and team, and the estate is flexible, so you can build the day around what you want. Old and new side by side, it’s a venue with real character, and a perfect stage for a big live band.

Can Brass Monkees play at Dorfold Hall?
Yes. Dorfold Hall is just outside Nantwich in south Cheshire, well within our area. We’ll speak to the wedding team before your day to plan load-in, set-up and timings.
Where will the band play?
That depends on how you plan your day and which spaces you use. We’ll confirm the layout with the venue and adjust our PA and lighting to suit the room and your guest numbers.
Can you do the ceremony and drinks reception too?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist can play your ceremony, roaming brass can entertain in the courtyard during drinks, and the full band takes over in the evening.
Is the PA and lighting included?
Yes. Our full PA and stage lighting are part of the booking, so there’s nothing else to arrange. We’re fully insured and can send our paperwork to the venue on request.
Can you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is packaged with the band for one seamless night of music, covering the gaps between sets and keeping the dancefloor full.
How much does a wedding band at Dorfold Hall cost?
Wedding packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and any add-ons you choose. There are no agency fees, as you deal with us directly. Send us your date for an exact quote.
