About the venue
A country estate for a big wedding
South of Chester near Broxton, Carden Park is a country estate of around 1,000 acres, with its wedding spaces set apart from the hotel's leisure guests.
Ceremonies for up to 300 can be held at the outdoor pavilion or the licensed gazebo by the lake, as well as indoors.
The Carden Suite, with its twinkle-light ceiling, seats up to 300 for dinner, and the Shooting Suite offers a beamed space with its own bar.
With 197 bedrooms, almost all of your guests can stay on the estate, and the music can run until 1am.

Can Brass Monkees play at Carden Park?
Yes. We play weddings all over Chester (see our Chester wedding band page). Before the day we speak to the venue team about where the band sets up, timings and their music arrangements.
Can you play our ceremony at Carden Park?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist can play your entrance, the signing and your exit by the lake, at the pavilion or indoors.
What time does the music finish at Carden Park?
The music can run until 1am, with the bar closing at 12.30am. That leaves time for two full band sets and our DJ booth after.
Do you work with sound limiters?

Do we need to hire a PA or lights?
No. Our own PA and stage lighting are included, and we are fully insured, with documents ready for the venue if they ask.

How far ahead should we book?
Summer Saturdays at big estates like Carden Park often book a year or more ahead, so check our availability as soon as you have your date.
