Sandon Hall Wedding Band
A Grade II listed stately home in a 400-acre park, home to the family of the Earls of Harrowby. Ceremonies in the Temple Garden, dinner in the Saloon, and a 9-piece band with a full horn section to finish.
About the venue
A stately home just for you
A short drive north-east of Stafford, Sandon Hall is a Grade II listed house designed by William Burn and still looked after by the family of the Earls of Harrowby. Every wedding here is exclusive use, so the house, gardens and parkland are yours for the day.
The house sits in a 400-acre park laid out by the landscape gardener William Emes, with around 50 acres of formal gardens. For the ceremony there is the Temple Garden for up to 250 guests, or indoors in the Drawing Room, the Library or the Conservatory. All Saints Church is a few minutes away for a church wedding.
The Saloon seats up to 120 for the wedding breakfast. For bigger weddings, a marquee on the South lawn takes from 120 up to 600 guests between April and October, which gives you room for a full band and a big dancefloor.
There are six bedrooms in the hall sleeping 12, with your own room included in the wedding packages, and more places to stay nearby, including the Dog and Doublet in the village.
Vows in the Temple Garden, dinner in the Saloon, horns on the South lawn.

Exclusive use, grand rooms and space for a marquee. Sandon Hall gives a live band plenty to work with.
Room to grow

Our acoustic singer and guitarist can play your ceremony in the Temple Garden, then follow your guests for drinks.
All yours
Every Sandon wedding is exclusive use, so the evening runs to your timings without another party next door.

Questions
Sandon Hall wedding band FAQs
Can Brass Monkees play at Sandon Hall?
Yes. We play weddings right across Staffordshire (see our Staffordshire wedding band page). Before the day we speak to the venue team about where the band sets up, timings and their music arrangements.
Can you play our ceremony in the Temple Garden?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist can play your entrance, the signing and your exit, outside or in one of the rooms in the house.
Will a 9-piece band fit at Sandon Hall?
For larger weddings, the marquee on the South lawn has plenty of room for the full band and a dancefloor. For a smaller wedding in the house, tell us the room and we will confirm the best set-up with the venue.
Do you work with sound limiters?
Yes. We set our levels to suit the room, and our guide to sound limiters at Staffordshire wedding venues explains how they work.
Do we need to hire a PA or lights?
No. Our own PA and stage lighting are included, and we are fully insured, with documents ready for the venue if they ask.
How much does a wedding band at Sandon Hall cost?
Our packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and extras. For marquee weddings of 200 or more guests we may need our larger PA. You book with us directly, so there are no agency fees. Send us your date for a quote.
How far ahead should we book?
Summer Saturdays at stately homes like Sandon Hall often book a year or more ahead, so check our availability as soon as you have your date.
