Isla Gladstone Wedding Band
A beautifully restored Victorian glass conservatory in historic Stanley Park. Say "I do" by the bandstand, then dance beneath the glass with a 9-piece live band.
About the venue
A Victorian gem, reborn
Built in 1899, the Grade II listed Isla Gladstone Conservatory sits at the heart of Stanley Park, the landscaped Victorian park between Anfield and Goodison.
The conservatory was designed by Mackenzie and Moncur, the same Edinburgh glasshouse builders behind the Sefton Park Palm House. After years standing empty, it was fully reconstructed as part of a £14m restoration of the park, and today it's a light-filled glass space made for celebrations.
Outside, the park's lakes, rose gardens and Victorian bandstand give you beautiful spots for photos, and even an outdoor ceremony, before everyone heads inside to eat, drink and dance.
With in-house catering, a wedding team to help plan the day and secure parking on site, it's a relaxed, easy venue for guests, so you can enjoy every minute, and leave the dancefloor to us.
A glass conservatory, a Victorian park and a 9-piece band. That's a Liverpool wedding.
Why a live band
Made for live music
Some venues are built for a big night. With its glass walls, its parkland setting and its relaxed feel, the Isla Gladstone is one of them.
Light, glass and space
A tall glass roof gives a full brass section room to breathe, so the band sounds huge while guests still chat by the bar.
Magical after dark
Light and airy by day, glowing by night. With our stage lighting, the whole conservatory becomes part of the show for your first dance.
A park at your door
Lakes, rose gardens and a Victorian bandstand right outside, perfect for roaming brass during your drinks reception.

Questions
Isla Gladstone Conservatory wedding band FAQs
Can Brass Monkees play at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory?
Yes. The Isla Gladstone is in Stanley Park, right in the middle of the area we cover. We'll liaise with the venue's wedding coordinator ahead of the day on set-up, timings and anything else they need, so you don't have to.
Do you bring your own PA and lighting?
Yes. A full PA and stage lighting are included with the band, so there's nothing extra to hire. We're also fully insured, and can supply our paperwork to the venue on request.
Can you do the ceremony and drinks reception too?
Absolutely. The Isla Gladstone is licensed for ceremonies, so you can have our acoustic singer and guitarist for the ceremony, roaming brass for the drinks reception, then the full band in the evening, all in the same building.
Can you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is packaged together with the band as one seamless night of music, from your first dance to the last song, so there's no need to book a separate DJ.
How much does a wedding band at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory cost?
Our wedding packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and which extras you choose. There are no agency fees, as you book directly with the band. Send us your date and we'll give you an exact quote.
Can you play at an outdoor ceremony at the bandstand?
Yes. Our acoustic singer and guitarist is perfect for a bandstand ceremony, and our roaming brass can keep the party going outside while you have your photos taken in the park. We'll plan a wet-weather option with the venue too.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular Saturdays can book up a year or more ahead, especially in spring and summer. If you've got your venue and date, it's worth checking our availability as soon as possible.
