Shankly Hotel Wedding Band
A rooftop glass garden with 360° views across Liverpool, in the hotel named after a city legend. Add a 9-piece live band and the party's above the city lights.
About the venue
A party above the city
In the heart of the city centre on Victoria Street, The Shankly Hotel celebrates one of Liverpool's greatest legends, Bill Shankly, and it's home to one of the city's most unique wedding spaces.
The star is the Garden of Eden: a rooftop venue with a 360° glass exterior, a tropical garden and outdoor seating, all looking out across the Liverpool skyline. It holds up to 250 day guests and 350 in the evening, so there's plenty of room for a big celebration.
For something smaller, Baby Eden hosts up to 100 guests. Both spaces are licensed for ceremonies, and with hotel rooms on site, your guests can dance late and head straight to bed.
With in-house catering and a wedding coordinator to guide you, you can relax and enjoy the view, and leave the dancefloor to us.
The skyline all around, a packed dancefloor and a 9-piece band. That's a Liverpool wedding.
Why a live band
Made for live music
Some venues are built for a big night. With its glass walls, skyline views and guests staying on site, The Shankly Hotel is one of them.

A tropical garden in the sky
Greenery, glass and skyline views make an unforgettable backdrop for your first dance, and for every photo of your guests going for it.
Party late, stay over
With hotel rooms downstairs, nobody has to leave early for a taxi. Your guests can dance to the last song, then head straight to bed.

Questions
The Shankly Hotel wedding band FAQs
Can Brass Monkees play at The Shankly Hotel?
Yes. The Shankly Hotel is in Liverpool city centre, right in the middle of the area we cover. We'll liaise with the venue's wedding coordinator ahead of the day on set-up, timings and anything else they need, so you don't have to.
Do you bring your own PA and lighting?
Yes. A full PA and stage lighting are included with the band, so there's nothing extra to hire. We're also fully insured, and can supply our paperwork to the venue on request.
Can you do the ceremony and drinks reception too?
Absolutely. The Shankly Hotel is licensed for ceremonies, so you can have our acoustic singer and guitarist for the ceremony, roaming brass for the drinks reception, then the full band in the evening, all in the same building.
Can you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is packaged together with the band as one seamless night of music, from your first dance to the last song, so there's no need to book a separate DJ.
How much does a wedding band at The Shankly Hotel cost?
Our wedding packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and which extras you choose. There are no agency fees, as you book directly with the band. Send us your date and we'll give you an exact quote.
Can you play in the rooftop Garden of Eden?
Yes. We'll work with the hotel's events team ahead of the day on access, set-up and where the band goes, and tailor our PA and lighting to the space and your guest numbers.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular Saturdays can book up a year or more ahead, especially in spring and summer. If you've got your venue and date, it's worth checking our availability as soon as possible.
