Sefton Park Palm House Wedding Band
A Victorian glasshouse filled with palms, set in the heart of Sefton Park. Dance beneath the glass dome as the sun goes down, with a 9-piece live band bringing the party.
About the venue
Liverpool's glass palace
Opened in 1896, Sefton Park Palm House is a Grade II* listed Victorian glasshouse, and one of the most spectacular wedding settings in the North West.
Designed by Mackenzie and Moncur, its octagonal iron frame rises in three tiers of glass domes above a granite base. Around the outside stand eight statues of great explorers and scientists, including Darwin, Captain Cook and Columbus, while inside the space is filled with exotic plants and towering palms.
You get exclusive use of the Palm House and its grounds, surrounded by the 235 acres of Sefton Park. By day it's flooded with natural light; after dark the glass glows, and it becomes one of the most magical places in the city to dance.
Catering is by the venue's partner Dine, with a dedicated event manager on hand all day, so you can relax and enjoy it, and leave the dancefloor to us.
Palms, a glass dome and a 9-piece band. That's a Liverpool wedding.
Why a live band
Made for live music
Some venues are built for a big night. With its soaring glass, its palms and its parkland setting, the Palm House is one of them.
Under the glass dome
Tiers of glass rising above the dancefloor give a full brass section room to breathe, so the band sounds huge while guests still chat by the bar.
Dancing among the palms
Exotic plants and Victorian ironwork make an unforgettable backdrop for your first dance, and for every photo of your guests going for it afterwards.
Glowing after dark
As night falls the glasshouse lights up, and with our stage lighting the whole Palm House becomes part of the show.
Ceremony to last song
From an acoustic ceremony to roaming brass, the full band and our DJ booth, we can soundtrack your whole day under one roof.

Questions
Sefton Park Palm House wedding band FAQs
Can Brass Monkees play at Sefton Park Palm House?
Yes. Sefton Park Palm House is in south Liverpool, right in the middle of the area we cover. We'll liaise with the venue's wedding coordinator ahead of the day on set-up, timings and anything else they need, so you don't have to.
Do you bring your own PA and lighting?
Yes. A full PA and stage lighting are included with the band, so there's nothing extra to hire. We're also fully insured, and can supply our paperwork to the venue on request.
Can you do the ceremony and drinks reception too?
Absolutely. The Palm House is licensed for ceremonies, so you can have our acoustic singer and guitarist for the ceremony, roaming brass for the drinks reception, then the full band in the evening, all in the same building.
Can you provide a DJ?
Yes. Our manned DJ booth is packaged together with the band as one seamless night of music, from your first dance to the last song, so there's no need to book a separate DJ.
How much does a wedding band at Sefton Park Palm House cost?
Our wedding packages start from around £2,000, depending on your date, timings and which extras you choose. There are no agency fees, as you book directly with the band. Send us your date and we'll give you an exact quote.
What time does the music have to finish?
The Palm House's music licence currently runs until midnight. We'll plan our sets around the venue's timings, so the dancefloor stays full right up to the end.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular Saturdays can book up a year or more ahead, especially in spring and summer. If you've got your venue and date, it's worth checking our availability as soon as possible.
