FAQS – CHESHIRE WEDDING BAND HIRE
The average price for local wedding bands is:
- 3 piece: £1,000+
- 4-5 piece: £1,400+
- 6+ piece: £1,600+
The 9 piece band pricing starts at £2,000 (without travel costs) and represents amazing value for the quality of musician, performance and everything included. Of course there is no agency fee booking direct, which is 20% average in the industry.
When booking wedding bands in Cheshire there are a number of factors that go into providing pricing including musician numbers, travel costs, time of year which affects pricing in terms of supply and demand and finally the amount of time needed to get to the venue and back plus waiting times.
We come fully self-contained with PA system, lighting (for on stage), music playlists for in-between before and slightly after sets and the below:
- Setup and soundcheck from 6pm
- 2 x 60 minute sets, or 1 x 90 minute set, 3 x 40 minute sets available on request
- DJ playlists before, in-between and after sets
- PA System
- Lighting (on stage)
- Public Liability Insurance
- PAT tested equipment
We are a 9 piece group consisting of:
Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys, 2 x Vocals, Sax, Trombone & Trumpet
No, we will provide everything.
All we ask for is a sheltered, flat surface to perform on with a space approximately 6m width x 3.5m depth and 2 x standard domestic plug sockets.
If you are having a large event of 200+ guests please get in touch as we may have to use our larger PA system to ensure it is powerful enough.

About 4 years ago, my now husband and I walked passed a pub in Knutsford and could hear an amazing live band playing inside. They drew us in. A RECENT CHESHIRE WEDDING: HARRI AND GILBERT, SPURSTOW
Roaming brass by day, full band by night
For Harri and Gilbert's marquee wedding in Spurstow, we looked after the music from afternoon to last dance. Our roaming brass played through the gardens during the day, then the full 9-piece band took over the dancefloor in the evening, with our DJ booth keeping things going between sets. By the end of the night, the bride was up on shoulders.
Harri summed it up in her review: "brass 3-piece in the afternoon followed by a full showdown later was absolutely epic." Even better, one of their friends has since booked us for her own wedding.

HOW YOUR CHESHIRE WEDDING DAY RUNS WITH US
From the ceremony to the last dance
Many couples start the day with our acoustic singer and guitarist for the ceremony, or our roaming brass band for the drinks reception.
We usually arrive around 6pm to set up. If we're in the same room as your meal, we'll wait until the speeches are finished so nothing gets interrupted, and we need about an hour and a half to set up and soundcheck. The band normally starts around 8.30–9pm, so the party peaks at the right time, playing two 60-minute sets, with three shorter sets or one longer set available on request.
Our PA, stage lighting and playlists before, between and after sets are all included, so there's nothing extra for you to organise. Want the party to carry on after the band? Our manned DJ booth package keeps the dancefloor going late into the night, with optional live sax and vocals. And because we're based in Cheshire, getting to your venue is simple.

Our main line-up is the full 9-piece band: drums, bass, guitar, keys, two vocalists, and a horn section of sax, trombone and trumpet. It's a big sound, but we can fit into a surprisingly small space if your venue needs us to.
Around the band, you can add the 4-piece roaming brass band for your drinks reception, our acoustic singer and guitarist for the ceremony, or a manned DJ booth, with optional sax and vocals, to keep the party going after the live sets.
Every performance includes our playlist service, so you don't need to book a separate DJ unless you'd like a live DJ set. See our wedding packages for the full options.

Before your wedding, we'll help tailor the setlist to you, and on the night we read the room to keep the dancefloor full. If there's time to rehearse, we'll gladly learn your first dance. If we don't feel we can do it justice live, we'll play the original through our PA.
