Booking acts for a festival, a town event or an outdoor stage? Brass Monkees are a 9-piece live band with trumpet, trombone and sax, playing Soul, Funk, R&B, Motown and Pop that pulls a crowd to the front. We fit our set to your running order, play on your stage and PA or bring our own, and can add roaming horns to work the site.
01Built for Big Stages
A live horn section, two singers and a full rhythm section carry a long way outdoors. Soul, Funk, R&B, Motown and Pop that draws people away from the bars and over to the stage.
029 Piece Band
Two lead vocalists, drums, bass, guitar, keys, trumpet, trombone and sax. Everything is played live, with no backing tracks, so the sound holds up on a big outdoor rig.
03Sets to Fit the Bill
Anything from a 45-minute slot to two hours, split however your running order needs. Tell us the stage times and changeovers and we’ll plan the set around them.
04Your PA or Ours
Play us through the festival’s stage, PA and engineer with our tech rider, or for smaller events we bring our own PA and lights. You don’t need to hire extra kit.
Add our four roaming horns to work the site between sets, an acoustic singer and guitarist for a second stage, or our DJ to cover changeovers.

FESTIVAL LIVE BAND
A nine-piece band with a live horn section, made for outdoor stages and big crowds.
We play festivals, town and village events, food and drink festivals, summer fairs, sports club family days and outdoor parties, plus music venues and private events with a stage outside. Our song list runs through Soul, Funk, R&B, Motown and Pop, the songs people know and sing back, so a passing crowd quickly becomes a dancing one.
Festival bills are all different, so we work to yours. We can fit a short slot or a long headline set, play through your stage, PA and sound engineer using our tech rider, or bring our own PA and lights for smaller events. We’re rated 5.0 on Google, and everything is played live, with no backing tracks.

Fully Insured
Event organisers and councils need paperwork for every act on the bill. We carry £10 million public liability insurance and PAT test all our equipment, and send the certificates to you or your production team ahead of the event.

Festival fees depend on the length of the set, travel, and whether we’re playing through your PA or bringing our own. Send us the date, location and slot you have in mind and we’ll send a clear quote.
There’s no agency involved, so there’s no commission added on top of our fee.
Yes. We trade as Entertainment Monkey Ltd and invoice event companies, councils, clubs and charities directly. A signed booking form and a 15% deposit confirm the date, with the balance due before the event.

Nine musicians: two lead singers, drums, bass, guitar and keys, and a horn section of trumpet, trombone and sax. Everything is played live, with no backing tracks.
Yes. We’ll send our tech rider to your production team so the engineer knows our line-up and inputs ahead of the day.
For smaller events without production, we bring our own 3kW PA, or a 5kW PA for bigger outdoor crowds at extra cost, plus stage lighting.
A covered, flat stage of roughly 6m × 3m for the nine of us, and a safe power supply. If we’re bringing our own PA, that means two 13 amp sockets on separate circuits or a generator suitable for a band. We’ll check it all with you before the day.
As long as the stage and our equipment are covered, we play. The band, the PA and the power all need to be kept dry, which is why we ask for a covered stage at every outdoor event.
Tell us how long the changeover is and what’s on stage already, and we’ll plan our set-up around it. On a shared stage we’ll agree arrival, line check and load-out times with your stage manager in advance.
Yes: summer fairs, food and drink festivals, town centre events, sports club family days and garden parties, as well as music venues. For smaller sites we can bring everything we need, or send our roaming brass band, which needs no stage or power at all.

We’re based in the North West and play regularly across the North West, North Wales and the Midlands, and we travel further across the UK for festivals. Travel is built into your quote.

We hired Brass Monkees for our company's anniversary celebrations, they were energetic and excellent !!
Brass Monkee's recently performed at our 25th anniversary party. They were absolutely sensational! I cannot recommend them enough. In the run up to the event they were super helpful, organised and made the whole process incredibly easy. The quality of the music was amazing, I've never seen so many people on their feet so quickly and people were up dancing all night. Every one of our guests commented on how good they were and many said it's the best band they've seen at an event.

Brass Monkees played at our Summer Party on Saturday after coming highly recommended to us and they certainly didn't disappoint! I saw the Brass Monkees about 4/5 years ago and they were good then, and my wife booked them for a surprise birthday party for my 70th last week and they were great. She booked the full 9 piece band and the sax, trombone and trumpet made it very professional. Everyone commented on how good the band were, and the music they played kept lots of people on the dance floor. It made it a night to remember 👍

I had Brass Monkees for my 60th Birthday in Knutsford at the courthouse. They were absolutely amazing. They got everyone up on the dance floor with absolutely no effort, because they are so good. They play all kinds of music. I was inundated with messages after my party saying it was one of the best parties they have been to. That was nothing to do with me. All down to the Brass Monkees.
