Cookies, explained
This page lists the cookies on brassmonkees.com, what each one does and how long it lasts. Only the cookies the site needs to work are set until you choose otherwise. Change your cookie settings.
1What cookies are
- 1.1Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, like remembering what's in your shop basket. Others help us see how the site is used or whether our adverts work.
- 1.2Cookies set by our own site are "first-party". Cookies set by other companies, such as Google or Meta, are "third-party", and those companies' own privacy policies apply to them.
2Your choices
- 2.1When you first visit, we ask whether you're happy for us to use analytics and marketing cookies. They stay off unless you say yes. Rejecting them doesn't stop any part of the site working.
- 2.2You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you switch a type of cookie off, we delete those cookies from your browser.
- 2.3We ask again every 6 months, in case you've changed your mind.

Only with your permission. These tell us whether our adverts on Google, Facebook and Instagram lead to enquiries, and let us show our adverts to people who've visited the site.

|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures whether an advert led to an enquiry | 90 days |
Google advertising cookies (such as IDE) | Measure and show adverts, set on Google's own websites | Up to 13 months | |

6Videos and social media
- 6.1Our videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't set cookies just because a video is on the page. When you press play, YouTube may store information in your browser under Google's privacy policy.
- 6.2Our Facebook, Instagram and other social media buttons are plain links. Nothing is shared with those sites unless you click through to them.
7Your browser settings
- 7.1You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site such as the shop basket may not work.
- 7.2Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on every site, and you can manage advert settings in your Google and Facebook accounts.
8Changes and contact
- 8.1Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the companies above and can change. We review this list when we add or remove anything on the site.
- 8.2Questions? Email info@brassmonkees.com. To find out how we look after your details, read our privacy policy.
