About Brass Monkees
A 9-piece party band with a full horn section, playing Soul, Funk, R&B, Motown and Pop totally live at weddings, corporate events and parties across the North West.
Our story
A real band, playing it for real
Brass Monkees started where every good band does: in pubs, music bars and on festival stages across Cheshire, building a reputation one packed dance floor at a time.
Plenty of our couples first heard us that way, walking past a pub in Knutsford or dancing in a festival tent in Nantwich, and booked us for their wedding years later. Today we play weddings, corporate events and private parties right across the North West, but the idea hasn’t changed: nine musicians, a three-piece horn section and no backing tracks.
We play the songs people actually want to dance to, from Motown and soul classics to funk, R&B and today’s pop hits, all arranged for live brass. Every set is built around your crowd, and your must-play songs and first dance are part of the plan from the start.
When you book Brass Monkees, you deal with the band direct, from your first message to the last song. No agency in the middle, no extra fees, and answers from the people who’ll be on stage.
Nine musicians, one horn section and a dance floor that never empties.
